About the Plunge
The Pooch Plunge will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 31st, 2008. The event takes place at Stronach Pool which is located at 1221 Sanford Street. There are 3 sessions;
1st Session: 1:00 – 1:50pm
2nd Session: 2:10 – 3:00pm
3rd Session: 3:20 – 4:10pm
Each session will require a $5.00 per dog entry fee. If your dog wishes to participate in more than one session you will have to pay the $5.00 entry fee for each session. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the plunge to sign in. A waiver MUST be filled out in full for dogs to participate in the plunge. Proof of vaccinates and a valid dog license is required. All dogs should be dog (and people) friendly.

All participating dogs will receive a Pooch Pack with wonderful pet friendly gifts inside!
Stronach pool has a beach front entry or graduated entry so the dogs can walk in and out of the pool as they please. There are NO people allowed in the pool at any time. This means you cannot swim with your dog. The splash pads within the pool area will be on, so if your dog does not wish to enter the pool there are still water play areas within the gates of the pool. The only parts of the pool area in which the dogs may not play are the slides. Although some of you may think they would have fun on the slides, it is too dangerous. There will be tennis balls donated by John Hatch Tennis Club so the dogs can play catch.
Is your dog not fond of the pool? If your dog does not like water (other than to drink, of course!), but you wish to support our efforts, we would be happy to take any donations with our thanks.
