The dog lover’s event of the year!
Thanks to all who participated in this wonderful and successful event!
Nov. 8, 2007 - Deputy Fire Chief Dan Oldridge checks the new pet respiratory equipment that the London Fire Services has acquired with the help of the Pooch Plunge fundraiser held in September. Heather (pictured) from Happy Paws London, presented the oxygen masks to the Fire Department.
Sept. 4, 2007 - The City of London, the City of London Fire Department and Happy Paws were thrilled to partner for this fantastic fundraising event. We raised money to purchase specially designed pet oxygen masks for the Fire Department to have on every fire engine in London.
August 9, 2007 - Since the Pooch Plunge story appeared in the July 27, 2007 print and online editions of the London Free Press newspaper (click here to read the story) interest from other communities has taken off! Concerned fire departments and private citizens are donating money to buy oxygen masks in St. Thomas, Strathroy, North Bay, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta. Get your city involved today!
